After a burglary in South Carolina, one person was arrested.

SOUTH CAROLINA— A Conway man has been detained in connection with a burglary committed last month.

Chad Lamar Long, 37, has been charged with first-degree burglary, according to detention documents. Officers went to a suspected burglary on Highway 65 in the Conway area of Horry County on September 26 at 7:13 p.m.

According to the event report, Long entered the house through a bathroom window, and evidence of forced entry was discovered.

A 9mm pistol, an Amazon Echo, and around $70 in cash were reported stolen. Surveillance camera purportedly captured some of Long’s actions.

Long is being jailed in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.
