MEDIC said that one person was shot in east Charlotte on Sunday afternoon.
Around 5:30 p.m., MEDIC responded to a call from the 1200 block of Weldon Avenue.
When they arrived, they discovered one victim with life-threatening injuries. The patient was sent to a local hospital.
No other information has been made accessible.
