Columbia, South Carolina – On Sunday, the Midlands community gathered at Second Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia to celebrate Angela Fuller’s life.
Fuller spent the afternoon remembering.
Fuller’s body was discovered on September 11 in a forested location off Shakespeare Road in Richland County, after being reported missing on August 31.
Anthony Reese, who has been claimed to be Fuller’s boyfriend, was arrested earlier this week and charged with murder in connection with her death.
Her cousin explained why they were there to congratulate Angela.
“Today we remember her laughter, kindness, [and] courage,” said Fuller’s cousin, Toshia Walker. “We remember how deeply she loved and how hard she tried to live a life full of peace, even in the face of unimaginable pain.”
Fuller is survived by her mother and two children.
