Dearborn, MI — A 38-year-old man from Dearborn is facing multiple serious charges after allegedly using his vehicle to intentionally strike another man on Saturday night, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
According to Dearborn Police, officers were called to the scene around 10:45 p.m. near Michigan Avenue and Howe Street, where they discovered a man lying unconscious on the sidewalk. Emergency responders provided immediate medical aid before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. The victim remains in critical but stable condition.
Suspect Identified and Arrested
Police quickly identified the suspected driver as Murtadha Jabbar Alizairij, who was later arrested at his Dearborn residence. Officials say Alizairij voluntarily admitted his involvement during questioning.
