Arlington, VA – Logan Chrisinger, 27, has been accused of murdering his mother, Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, a makeup artist for Newsmax who worked with Greta Van Susteren. The incident occurred on Aug. 17, when police were called to a residence after a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found Baldwin suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite officers administering lifesaving measures, Baldwin was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The police department described the shooting as a “domestic-related homicide.”
Charges and Investigation
Chrisinger, who was at the scene when police arrived, has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. It is unclear if Chrisinger has entered a plea or retained an attorney.

In response to Baldwin’s tragic death, Greta Van Susteren posted on X (formerly Twitter), expressing her sadness over the loss of Baldwin, who had worked as her makeup artist for 3 1/2 years.
