Families packed the walkways of Tanger Outlets, with shopping bags in hand and credit cards swiping nonstop. Sneakers, backpacks, and athletic wear were some of the hottest items this year, according to Jamie Wilson, General Manager for Tanger Outlets Charleston.
“It’s been high energy. We have so many families coming out to shop… lots of sneakers, lots of athletic wear,” Wilson said. “The kids really want to be comfortable this school year, and the parents are ready to get it all done.”
Fun for All Ages with Crocs Partnership
One of the standout features of this year’s bash was a new partnership with Crocs. Children were given free back-to-school bags to customize with charms and stickers. After designing their bags, kids could tie them up with a bow and snap a picture at the selfie station.
“I remember counting down the days for school… so to see Crocs doing a cool event like this for kids—it’s fun for all families,” said visitor Keagan Hughes.
The event created an atmosphere of joy and community, mixing retail therapy with hands-on fun for both kids and adults.
