Local law enforcement is looking for leads in a deadly hit-and-run that occurred over the weekend in the Hollywood area, according to a news release from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, July 12, deputies received a call reporting a man lying in the road near the 5300 block of Cherry Hill Road. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
The deceased individual was identified as 41-year-old Tyler Talley.
Deputies reported that there were no witnesses to the hit-and-run. However, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit identified the car’s make and model based on the debris found at the scene.
Deputies have asked the public to look for a dark-colored 2017 or 2018 Infinity G50 with front-end damage.
