Highly rated wide receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray has officially committed to play college football at the University of Colorado Boulder.
The Oceanside Collegiate standout announced his decision Monday afternoon during a ceremony in North Charleston.
Kelly-Murray is considered one of the top football prospects in South Carolina and is widely rated as a four-star recruit by major recruiting services.
Recruitment Took Unexpected Turn
Kelly-Murray had originally committed to the University of South Carolina in March.
However, he later de-committed just one month after making that pledge, reopening his recruitment before ultimately choosing Colorado.
His latest decision sends one of the Lowcountry’s biggest football talents to the Big 12 program.
Star Career Began at Summerville
Before transferring to Oceanside Collegiate for his senior season, Kelly-Murray starred at Summerville High School.
He became a varsity starter during his freshman year and initially played defensive back before transitioning into a major offensive weapon at wide receiver.
In January, he announced plans to transfer to Oceanside Collegiate Academy for his final high school season.
Impressive Senior Season Numbers
During the 2025 season, Kelly-Murray recorded 75 receptions for more than 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns.
His performances helped Oceanside reach the Class 5A Division I state championship game.
He also earned repeated recognition as one of the region’s top high school football players.
Multiple All-Friday Night Lights Honors
Kelly-Murray has been selected to the Live 5 All-Friday Night Lights First Team three times during his high school career.
He first earned honors as a defensive back in 2023 before receiving recognition as a wide receiver in both 2024 and 2025.
His combination of athleticism, speed, and versatility made him one of the most highly recruited players in the state.
