Islander 71 Fish House and Deck Bar is rolling out the red carpet for what’s being dubbed “Charleston’s Biggest Derby Party”—and you’re invited! Join the festivities on Saturday, May 4th, from 3 PM to 8 PM for an unforgettable Derby Day celebration by the water.
This free event is open to the public and promises all the Southern charm, flair, and excitement you’d expect from race day. The highlight? A massive 14-foot LED screen where guests can catch every thrilling moment—from the Derby pre-show to the “most exciting two minutes in sports.”
Dress to impress in your Derby best—think seersucker suits, floral prints, oversized hats, bold bow ties, and vibrant colors. Islander 71 will be hosting a Best Dressed Contest with prizes in the following categories:
- Best Dressed Gentleman
- Best Dressed Lady
- Best Dressed Couple
The party doesn’t stop with the race. DJ Mike C will be keeping the energy high as the event’s official MC, and the talented bar team will be shaking up classic Derby cocktails and creative house specials throughout the day.
