Police in Rasuwa district have arrested a 37-year-old man after recovering 14,500 US dollars during a vehicle security check.

The suspect has been identified as Min Bahadur Magar, a permanent resident of Siddhicharan Municipality in Okhaldhunga district.

Currency Discovered During Highway Check

Police said officers stopped a passenger bus traveling from Kathmandu to the northern border town of Timure.

During a detailed inspection of passengers and their belongings, security personnel reportedly found undeclared US dollar notes in Magar’s possession.
