Police in Melbourne, Australia, are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed two family members in separate incidents on the morning of [insert date]. The suspect is considered potentially armed.
First Attack in Epping
The violent rampage began around 7:15 a.m. in Epping, where the 40-year-old male victim, believed to be the suspect’s cousin, was stabbed. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Second Attack in Dandenong North
Hours later, at approximately 10 a.m., the suspect allegedly rammed a Honda CRV into a house on Exner Street in Dandenong North. Inside the home, he reportedly stabbed a woman, believed to be his sister. Neighbors found her covered in blood with multiple upper-body wounds.
Emergency crews transported her to Dandenong Hospital in serious but stable condition. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police Response and Search
Southern Metro Region Inspector Graham Higginbotham said the suspect is known to police and described both attacks as targeted. Authorities have deployed the police airwing, dog squad, and additional patrols to assist in the search.
The suspect was last seen wearing a brown shirt and black trousers. Police have urged residents not to approach him and to report sightings immediately.

Inspector Higginbotham emphasized that there is no indication of random attacks outside the targeted victims but advised caution. Residents should remain vigilant and contact police if they see anyone matching the suspect’s description.
