Authorities in Alabama have arrested Randall Lendell Dejourney in connection with the death of 23-year-old Karen Hollis, whose remains were discovered on May 16.
Details of the Disappearance
Hollis was reported missing on May 8 in Northport, last seen on 43rd Avenue. She lived with a condition that could impair her judgment. Family and friends located her remains after investigators traced a location through recovered electronic evidence.
Arrest and Charges
Dejourney was taken into custody immediately after Hollis’ remains were found. He has been charged with abuse of a corpse and is being held on a $15,000 cash bond. Authorities noted that further charges could be filed pending the autopsy results.

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office executed multiple search warrants and collected physical, witness, and electronic evidence.
