The Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) has confirmed that 15-year-old Ziriay, who was reported missing earlier, has been found safe.

On Friday, May 8, MPPD issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a missing juvenile. The teen, identified as Ziriay, was last seen leaving her residence in the Old Village around 2:30 p.m. that day.
Ziriay was described as wearing brown pajama pants, a brown sweatshirt, and pink Crocs at the time she was last seen. She stands at 5’3″, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities had been actively searching for the teen, urging the community to report any sightings.
