Justin Daniel Ramey, a 39-year-old Summerville man, was arrested by North Charleston Police in connection with a Monday morning hit-and-run on March 2, 2026, near Ladson Road that caused a rollover crash. He faces charges of hit-and-run and driving under suspension.
Incident Sequence
Around 7:30 a.m., an SUV driven by Ramey allegedly cut off another vehicle at Ladson Road and Palmetto Commerce Parkway, then fled; en route to the first scene, police learned of a flipped car at Ladson Road and Spencer Woods Road. Surveillance showed Ramey parking on Black Jack Road and exiting on Hamburg Road, where he was detained and admitted to the suspended license.
Detention
Ramey was booked into Al Cannon Detention Center after police linked him to both collisions. No injuries were detailed for the rollover victim.
