A woman in her 20s was seriously injured in a shooting at her home in Peckham, London, on Christmas Eve 2025, with her one-year-old son unharmed during the incident.
Incident Details
Police responded to reports of gunshots at around 10:50 p.m. on Cronin Street, finding the victim with multiple gunshot wounds from bullets fired through her front door. Seven shots were discharged by two men in dark clothing, one wearing a gray hooded top and believed to carry the firearm.
Suspect Description
The suspects fled on foot toward Commercial Way after the attack. The second man wore a dark-colored hooded top, and no arrests have been made as of the latest reports.
Victim Status
The woman was hospitalized in critical condition over Christmas and remained under treatment as of January 10, 2026. Her child was present but uninjured.

Detective Inspector Jordan Gardner described the event as a shocking act of violence and urged witnesses near Cronin Street, Commercial Way, or Moody Road between 9:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. to share information, including CCTV or dash-cam footage.
