North Charleston, South Carolina. An obstacle in the left lane of I-26 eastbound near the Volvo Car Drive interchange caused dozens of flat tires Saturday morning.
The lane was closed to traffic about 10:45 a.m. between the Volvo intersection and the Jedburg interchange. According to witnesses, the event resulted in “almost two dozen” automobiles being pulled over with flat tires.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation stated that it is aware of the problem. News 4 has contacted the South Carolina Highway Patrol for more information.
