Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Veterans and their families will be able to visit Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum free of charge next week.
On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, the museum invites the community to celebrate those who have served our nation by waiving admission prices for all United States military veterans, active-duty personnel, members of the National Guard and Coast Guard, and their immediate family members.
The unique event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Patriots Point will also hold a Veterans Day Donation Drive in partnership with Operation Homefront to benefit military families in need. Visitors who contribute to the drive by donating items will receive a $3 ticket for basic museum admission.
Non-perishable food items including canned foods, pasta, rice, and beans, as well as small children’s toys, are requested as donations.
