UNION, S.C. A guy was discovered dead in a Union yard, prompting the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to be brought in for an investigation.
Around 8:12 a.m., according to the Union Public Safety Department, officers arrived at the 400 block of South Mountain Street and saw a guy lying in the yard who was not responding. Reports state that Union County EMS verified the man’s death.
Officers reportedly secured the scene after discovering what looked to be a gunshot wound on the victim.
The Union Public Safety Department has declared the death to be a homicide.
The guy was recognized by the Union County Coroner’s Office as Charles Nathan Crosby, 67. According to officials, he resided at the house where his body was discovered.
