Police in North Charleston are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left one man injured.

According to the North Charleston Police Department, the shooting occurred around 4:14 p.m. along Gaynor Avenue near East Montague Avenue.
The victim, a 45-year-old man, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
