A motorcyclist died after a collision on College Park Road, according to state troopers

A motorcyclist was tragically killed Wednesday afternoon in Goose Creek after a collision with an SUV, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The Accident
The crash occurred around 5:55 p.m. when the driver of a 2013 Toyota SUV attempted to turn left onto Corporate Parkway from College Park Road. The motorcyclist, riding a 2001 Kawasaki, was traveling west when the two vehicles collided on the passenger side of the SUV.

Fatality
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the deceased.

Investigation
An investigation into the accident is currently underway, with authorities working to determine the cause of the collision.
