Charleston Police Department is attempting to identify school vandalism culprits

Introduction
Police in Charleston are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects who used stolen spray paint to deface property at Phillip Simmons High School with racist symbols and offensive graffiti.

The Incident
On the night of July 26, the three suspects accessed a storage shed at Phillip Simmons High School on Daniel Island and stole spray paint. The individuals then used the stolen paint to vandalize school property, including a bus. Among the offensive symbols sprayed were a swastika, other racially charged graffiti, and phallic symbols.

Request for Information
Charleston police have released images of the suspects and are urging anyone with information to come forward. If you recognize the individuals, contact the Charleston Police Department at 843-720-2422 and ask to speak with the on-duty Central Detective. Authorities are working to hold those responsible accountable and urge the community to help in identifying the vandals involved in this hate-driven incident.
