GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — State Sen. Josh Kimbrell, a recently-declared candidate for governor, will be speaking at the Berkeley County Republican Party’s monthly breakfast on Saturday, July 5, the day after Independence Day. The theme for this month’s gathering is “Celebrating Our Freedom”, and Kimbrell is expected to present his “bold conservative vision” for South Carolina while addressing key issues facing the state.
John Mace McGrath, Chairman of the Berkeley County GOP, praised Kimbrell, saying, “Senator Kimbrell is one of South Carolina’s leading conservative voices and a true fighter for freedom. The breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 166, located at 116 Howe Hall Road in Goose Creek. The event is open to the public, allowing attendees a chance to hear Kimbrell’s thoughts on the state’s future and engage with local GOP leaders.

Kimbrell, a prominent figure within South Carolina’s conservative movement, has thrown his hat into the ring for the governor’s race, adding to the growing pool of candidates.
