The North Charleston Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday afternoon in Ladson. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Raddison Lane, prompting a swift police response.
Shooting Incident and Victims
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that one of the victims had already fled in a car. Officers quickly located the car and stopped it, finding the victim inside. The victim was then rushed to the hospital, as confirmed by North Charleston Police Deputy Chief Rick Keys. A second victim, who was found at the scene, was also transported to the hospital.
At least one of the victims is in critical condition. The police are working to gather more information about the incident and determine the full extent of the situation.
Suspects in Custody
Police later found the suspects in a vehicle traveling on Ashley Phosphate Road. A pursuit followed, and the suspects eventually fled from the vehicle. Three people were taken into custody as a result of the chase. The police are continuing their investigation into the shooting and the circumstances surrounding it.
