Authorities in Texas have arrested two teenagers in connection with a series of shootings across Austin that left four people injured over the weekend. Police are still searching for a third suspect.

Details of the Shooting Spree

The attacks occurred Saturday and Sunday, including two shootings near Austin Fire Department stations. The first shooting happened around 9 p.m. Saturday on Wentworth Drive, East Austin. Another occurred at 8 a.m. Sunday near Janes Ranch Road and Ballydawn Drive, leaving one victim in serious but stable condition. A third shooting targeted Fire Station 32 around 10:50 a.m. Sunday. No firefighters were injured, and only minor property damage was reported.

Suspects and Charges

The arrested suspects are a 17-year-old boy with a prior gun-theft warrant and a 15-year-old boy accused of stealing a gun from the same location. Both are also accused of stealing four vehicles during the incidents. The third suspect remains at large near the Austin suburb of Manor.

Public Safety Measures

Following the arrests, authorities lifted a shelter-in-place order for South Austin, though some restrictions remain in place in parts of the city. Police urge residents to keep vehicles locked and to report any information related to the crimes. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for tips leading to an arrest.
