A major drug operation in North Charleston has led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash worth thousands of dollars. The case highlights ongoing efforts by police to crack down on illegal drug activity in the area.

Drug Bust on Kraft Avenue

The North Charleston Police Department carried out a search warrant at a home on Kraft Avenue on Wednesday morning.

During the operation, officers arrested Anthony Nazar Sa’id Joyner, 27, at the scene.

What Police Found

According to authorities, the search uncovered a range of illegal substances. These included cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, and fentanyl.

The estimated value of the drugs alone was more than $7,500.

Weapons, Cash and Vehicle Seized

In addition to the drugs, officers also recovered:

  • 10 firearms
  • $4,770 in cash
  • A vehicle worth around $5,000

Altogether, the total value of seized items exceeded $20,000.

Charges Filed Against the Suspect

Joyner is now facing multiple serious charges, including:

  • Drug trafficking and manufacturing
  • Possession with intent to distribute controlled substances
  • Possession of MDMA
  • 20 counts related to possessing weapons during a violent crime

Police Action and Ongoing Efforts

The arrest is part of continued work by the department’s narcotics unit to reduce drug-related crime and improve safety in the community.

Joyner has been taken to a local detention centre, and further legal proceedings are expected.
