Police in Florence are continuing to investigate a shooting that left one person injured Tuesday afternoon.
What Happened
According to the Florence Police Department, officers responded shortly after noon to multiple reports of gunfire near North Buckingham Road and Sopkin Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that a victim had already been taken to a local hospital.
Victim’s Condition
Officials said the injured person’s wounds are not believed to be life-threatening. No additional details about the victim have been released.

During their investigation, officers located multiple shell casings in the area, confirming that gunfire had occurred at the location.
