A shocking incident in Laurens County has ended with a man receiving a long prison sentence after a deadly shooting linked to a custody dispute.

Stephen Andrew White has pleaded guilty to serious charges, including murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The court accepted his plea, and he has now been sentenced to decades in prison for the killing.
