A late-night incident in Cayce has left a man injured after a stabbing under a bridge, with police currently searching for the suspect involved.
What Happened
According to city officials, the incident took place around 11 p.m. on Saturday near the Charleston Highway and Interstate 26 area.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing and found that a 33-year-old man had been attacked in that location.
Details of the Attack
Authorities shared that the victim:
- Was stabbed three times in the arm
- Was injured under a bridge
- Managed to leave the scene on his own
In a surprising move, the injured man walked to a nearby Waffle House, where he called 911 for emergency help.
Victim’s Condition
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. While he suffered multiple injuries, officials have not indicated that his condition is life-threatening.
Suspect Still Not in Custody
Police have identified a suspect connected to the case, but as of now:
