Two people were arrested Tuesday following a monthslong undercover investigation in Florence County, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the operation was launched in response to complaints from residents.
Charges Filed Against Suspects
James David Hendricks III, 23, of Coward, and Jada Cally Ford, 25, of Pamplico, were taken into custody after deputies executed a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Ben Gause Road in Coward.
Hendricks is charged with possession of controlled substances and distribution of fentanyl to a confidential informant. Ford is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Ongoing Legal Process
Both suspects were transported to the Florence County Detention Center, where they are being held pending a bond hearing. The search was carried out by the sheriff’s office Narcotics Bureau along with the department’s Street Crimes Unit.
