A pickup truck veered off College Park Road in Berkeley County, S.C., late Friday night, February 13, 2026, striking a tree and killing the passenger while injuring the driver.​​
Crash Details
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the 2021 Ford pickup was heading west around 11:40 p.m. near Andrews Boulevard when it ran right off the road. The passenger, 30-year-old Thomas Dylan Prince from Summerville, died from his injuries; the driver was hospitalized with no identity released.
Investigation Status
Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and SCHP are probing the single-vehicle wreck. No further updates on cause or driver condition as of February 16, 2026.​
