Charleston County schools closed Monday; kids will participate in eLearning.

Charleston County School District (CCSD) has closed all schools and offices on Monday, February 2, 2026, due to cold temperatures and snowy roads. The district is shifting to eLearning and remote work to ensure safety.​

Teachers will provide instructions and materials for remote learning on Monday. Facilities teams are assessing roads and cleaning sites during the closure.​
