Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Today was a record-breaking day throughout the region. North Myrtle Beach and Florence experienced record highs. Both places hit 81 degrees.
Tonight, we will see a front move to our north. We shall see a northerly flow enter the area. We’ll see partly to mainly cloudy skies overnight. Lows will range from the mid to upper 50s. An solitary shower may travel across this area. As we approach Sunday, clouds will thin down, and the majority of the area will see partly cloudy conditions. Not as warm. Highs in the low 70s. Sunday night will see clear skies, with lows in the low to mid-50s.
On Monday, the skies will be mostly to partly sunny. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60s. As we approach Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will rise into the low to mid 70s throughout the region. It will be a wonderful warm-up before a strong cold front moves in on Wednesday evening. That front might bring some showers and possibly a thunderstorm.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday will be significantly colder in the area. Temperatures will only get to the low to mid-50s. Overnight lows in the Pee Dee will be around or slightly below freezing. Low temperatures along the coast will be in the mid to high 30s. There are no big weather concerns for Thanksgiving travel.
