A shooting at a Summerville mobile home park on July 5 led to the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of several firearms and drugs. The incident took place at Creekside Mobile Home Park, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the events that unfolded.

What Happened During the Incident?

Detectives from the Summerville Police Department’s Street Intelligence Unit were patrolling the area when they witnessed a shooting in front of Lot 1 at the Creekside Mobile Home Park. The officers quickly responded, detaining 18-year-old Da’Marion Riley who was found with two firearms. One of the firearms had been reported stolen from Cayce, SC, and Riley was charged with receiving stolen goods and discharging a firearm.

Additional Arrests and Apprehensions

As officers worked to secure the scene, several individuals from the residence fled on foot. In response, K-9 units assisted in tracking down and apprehending multiple suspects. During the investigation, more firearms and drugs were recovered.

Among those arrested was 22-year-old Jyquerius Green, who was found with two firearms. Green was charged with discharging a firearm within town limits and resisting arrest.

Devonte Green, 18, was also arrested after officers found a bookbag containing approximately 180 grams of marijuana. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Firearms and Drugs Recovered

A total of six firearms were recovered during the initial investigation, and authorities continue to gather evidence related to the incident. The recovered firearms and drugs suggest a larger-scale operation, which police are continuing to investigate.
