Incident at Centennial Beach

The Naperville Police Department responded to the scene at 5:43 p.m. on Thursday after receiving reports of a missing swimmer. The man was last seen in the deep end of the pool. Lifeguards quickly located the swimmer and pulled him from the water at 6:06 p.m. He was unresponsive when pulled from the water.

Medical Response

Emergency crews from the Naperville Fire Department transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The authorities are now investigating what led to the incident.
