A man was found fatally shot in a wooded area off Harrison Road in Macon, Georgia, on Sunday morning. Authorities responded to the call at 9:24 a.m. from Macon-Bibb E-911, reporting that a male had been shot near the 6000 block of Harrison Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported him to a medical facility, where he later died from his injuries.

The victim’s identity has not been confirmed, and no other injuries have been reported in connection with the shooting. Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley confirmed the death.
