Two out-of-county homicide suspects were arrested without incident during a high-risk search warrant operation at Sleepy Hollow Trailer Park off Battley Dairy Road, southwest of Hamlet, on Friday afternoon. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) Special Response Team assisted investigators as part of a homicide probe originating from another county, though the originating county remains unspecified. As of late Friday afternoon, suspect names and exact numbers weren’t released, with no matching homicide charges listed in Richmond County Jail records at that time.​
