Columbia, South Carolina – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has identified a person of interest in the shootings on the South Carolina State University campus.
Two shootings occurred on campus on October 4. Coroner Sean Fogle reported that Jaliyah Butler, 19, of Saluda, was murdered in one of the shootings, while another male victim was critically injured.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for two shootings on campus, with $5,000 for the first incident at Hugine Suites and $5,000 for the second near Poplar Hall.
