SC boutique owner's 9th arrest followed claims of not shipping and returning $200 worth of merchandise in Richland County.

A woman accused of failing to deliver online boutique orders appeared for a bond hearing Thursday and was granted a $2,125 bond. Schronce was initially held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center before being transferred Friday to the Greenwood County Detention Center, where she was booked on similar charges.

According to documents released by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, a complaint was filed in December 2025 by a customer of Schronce’s business, Thomas & Turner Boutique. The customer reported placing four orders in October and November 2025, including one listed as “ready to ship.” By Dec. 30, none of the items had been received, totaling just over $202.

Records state Schronce allegedly stopped communicating with the customer around Dec. 11 or 12, despite promising an email update that was never sent. The complaint was filed in Richland County because that is where the customer resides, though the report came amid a broader investigation involving authorities in Anderson County.

Law enforcement officials say multiple victims have come forward claiming they purchased items from the boutique but never received them. Several customers also allege they were promised refunds or store credit that were not provided.

In addition to her arrest in Greenwood County, Schronce has also been jailed in Anderson, Spartanburg, Greenville, Pickens, and Abbeville counties as investigations continue across multiple jurisdictions.
