Greenville County, South Carolina – According to the Greenville County Coroner, one individual died as a result of an accident in Greenville County.
According to the state highway police, at approximately 9:45 p.m., an automobile pulled out of a private driveway and attempted to cross Blue Ridge Drive onto the Arch Street extension when it was hit by a truck traveling south on Blue Ridge Drive.
The coroner’s office reported that the car’s driver, 42-year-old Jose Louis Munoz of Greenville, was pronounced dead at the site.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the incident.
The coroner’s office and the state highway patrol are still investigating the wreck. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
