One person is dead following a shooting in the Scotia area of Hampton County, according to the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a reported shooting on Granthill Road on Feb. 21. When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Geordi Pringle of Hardeeville suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities said Pringle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect in Custody, Charges Pending
Officials confirmed that one individual has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting, though formal charges have not yet been announced.
