North Charleston police have made another arrest in the Ruby Tuesday copper wire theft.

Aimee Michelle Becker, 45, of Summerville, S.C., was arrested Tuesday and charged with damage to property while stealing metals after North Charleston police linked her to the theft of copper wiring from a Ruby Tuesday on Northside Drive.

Incident Details

On Jan. 31, 2026, officers on foot patrol found two homeless individuals in an unlocked storage area; a hotel worker reported suspicious activity, revealing three electrical panels stripped of copper on the restaurant’s east side. Hotel surveillance showed suspects loading wire into a vehicle and a room.

Investigation and Arrests

Four people received trespass notices; prior arrest of Benjamin Shaffer. Becker was identified via probe and booked at Al Cannon Detention Center; detectives seek Michael David Prosecky, 45, of North Charleston, and Sharnise Letitia Cook, 35, of Summerville.
