James Island, S.C. — James Island County Park is inviting Lowcountry residents and their four-legged friends to a fun-filled Yappy Hour event to celebrate the end of summer. The event will take place at the park’s off-leash dog park, where dogs and their owners can enjoy an afternoon of live music, cold beverages, and plenty of fun.

Event Highlights

Live Music: Enjoy tunes by Molly Durnin, a local singer-guitarist from Charleston, who will perform starting at 5:30 p.m.

Beverages: Beer, wine, Pepsi products, and Aquafina water will be available for purchase to keep everyone refreshed.

Dog-Friendly Fun: The park features acres of space for dogs to run and play, with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. Dogs will also have access to a large lake for swimming, plus dog washing areas, water fountains, benches, and restroom facilities.
