Goose Creek, South Carolina. A unique event to commemorate veterans will take place in Goose Creek on Tuesday.
Veterans Day is honored every November 11th to thank veterans for their service and to honor their patriotism, heroism, and sacrifices.
As part of that celebration, the City of Goose Creek will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at John McCants Veterans Park (355 Anita Drive).
The keynote message will be delivered by U.S. Air Force Veteran Joe Daning, a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives and Goose Creek City Council.
The Goose Creek High School JROTC and Chamber Choir will also perform during the ceremony, and Goose Creek Mayor Greg Habib will offer remarks.
Members in the community are invited to participate.
