The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) will offer courtesy boat inspections for boaters across the state during the busy July Fourth weekend. These inspections aim to ensure that all boats comply with safety regulations, keeping everyone safe while enjoying South Carolina’s waterways.
Courtesy Boat Inspections for July Fourth Weekend
With the holiday being one of the busiest times for boating, SCDNR officers want to make sure everyone is following the rules before heading out on the water. The good news for boaters is that if any issues are found during the inspection, they will not receive a ticket. Instead, they will have the opportunity to correct any problems before launching their boat.
