SOUTH CAROLINA— Five persons were detained Thursday after investigators from the Florence Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit carried out a search warrant at a home on North Alexander Street.
According to a police department release, fentanyl and marijuana were found during the search.
The following Florence people were brought into custody:
Calvin Waiters-HHunter, 33, was charged with trafficking fentanyl and possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Ali’k Jeffery, 29, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Mary Jones, 32, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Ambria Brunson, 29, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Doretha Hayes, 60, was arrested on an active shoplifting warrant issued by the Florence Police Department.
All five defendants were brought to the Florence County Detention Center, where they are still awaiting bond.
