Timber Pizza Co., a Michelin Bib Gourmand pizzeria known for its wood-fired pies, is bringing its delicious pizza to Charleston this summer. The first South Carolina location will open at 741 Meeting Street in Charleston’s North Central District.
The Timber Difference Comes to Charleston
Timber Pizza Co. was originally founded in Washington, D.C., by Andrew Dana and Chris Brad in 2014. The Charleston store will be the first in the state, and it is set to open sometime in July, although an official date has yet to be announced. The pizzeria will offer its signature 12” green, red, and white pies, all wood-fired in a Marra Forni oven at 650 degrees.
Jeremy Waybright, the owner of the new Charleston location, shared his excitement about the opening. “As a Charleston resident and lifelong pizza lover myself, I can’t wait to introduce the Timber difference to my fellow neighbors,” Waybright said. “Whether it’s your family, friends, or just you and your dog – stop in, grab a pizza, crack open a craft beer, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life… good people and great pizza.”
A Menu Full of Flavor
Timber’s menu will feature a variety of unique and flavorful pies, including:
The Penelope: Pesto, fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, bacon, and smoked paprika.
Classic Margherita: Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil.
The Shirley: A provolone and mozzarella blend, pesto drizzle, tomato drizzle, jalapenos, cured chorizo, and green onions.
In addition to its mouthwatering pizza, Timber will have a full-service bar offering local beers and spirits, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family.

Timber Charleston’s Location and Hours
Timber Pizza Co. will be open seven days a week in a 1,755-square-foot space, which includes a 14-seat bar and seating for 34 indoors, with an additional 16 seats on an intimate outdoor patio. The new location will provide a cozy atmosphere where pizza lovers can enjoy freshly made pies and craft drinks in the heart of Charleston.
