Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed 31-year-old Frezja Matisse Baker, reported missing from Charlotte, was found dead in her vehicle on December 11, 2025.​
Disappearance Details
Baker was last seen around 10 p.m. on December 4 driving a gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord near 1323 Lasalle Street after dropping her young son at her grandparents’ home. She called her brother about 30 minutes later saying she was an hour away but never arrived.​
Discovery and Charges
Officers located her unresponsive inside the car in the 2300 block of Sanders Avenue, behind an abandoned church, around 9:30 a.m. on December 11. Homicide detectives identified 38-year-old Lorenza Thomas Inman Jr. as a suspect, charging him with murder, assault on a female, and domestic violence; he is in custody.​
