Charleston Police Department invites families to attend the annual 'Halloween Howl' event.

Charleston, South Carolina – The Charleston Police Department is preparing for a spooky, family-oriented event.

The agency’s annual ‘Halloween Howl’ will be held on Thursday, October 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. at its Lockwood Boulevard offices.

According to police, the celebration will have live music, refreshments, prizes, costumes, and plenty of candy.

Attendees can even help choose which cop car is the best adorned.

The event is free and open to all ages. People are invited to wear costumes and bring their “spooky spirit.”
