Charleston County launches voter ambassador training to increase local civic involvement

Charleston County Elections has opened new training sessions for its Voter Ambassador Program, offering residents the opportunity to help inspire civic engagement and ensure their neighbors are informed and empowered to vote.

The Voter Ambassador Program, launched in 2024, aims to increase voter participation by training local residents to host voter registration drives, provide information about upcoming elections, and assist others in understanding the importance of voting.

Isaac Cramer, Executive Director of Charleston County Elections, emphasized the significance of the program: “Serving as a Voter Ambassador is your chance to inspire civic engagement, ensure neighbors have the facts, and help every voice be heard.”

Training Details

The training will provide participants with the skills necessary to educate their communities about voting. Dozens of community members have already been trained, and the program continues to grow.

Thursday, September 11, 2025

Wednesday, September 24, 2025

Training will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Charleston County Elections headquarters located at 4340 Corporate Road in North Charleston.
