Charleston, South Carolina. – A Lowcountry cardiologist gave some advice with News 2 on how to keep healthy this holiday season if you’ve recently had a cardiac episode.
Dr. John Fry, a board-certified cardiologist at Lowcountry Cardiology Associates, specializes in minimally invasive therapies for coronary artery and peripheral vascular disease.
“After a major heart event, it’s important not to be overstimulated, and certainly around the holidays, it’s nice to be around loved ones and those that care about you,” Ms. Fry said.
He advises recovering patients to avoid mental stress, see a doctor before traveling, and avoid overindulging over their Thanksgiving feast.
